Dec randoms.....

Adventures in Costco. The price of this teddy was $200.00.
Eli and Finn got a good snuggle in, seeing as they weren't
going to be taking him home.

December is a busy month for us here in the valley. The whole
Gleanings base participates in different out reaches in the community,
and it's always a party! We had speakers blasting through
the whole trailer park, and got to pray for lots of peeps :)
The infamous while elephant gift exchange. 60 people playing!
Eli wears out his shoes every 2 weeks playing so much
street hockey. Can't beat the exercise he gets though!
Jen is admiring the painting that our friend Chris is
painting for the Gleanings dining hall. She'll be here for
3 months, and will be painting up the whole place!! wow
This was a big project recently. We built a huge cement pad for the kids to play all their sports on,
instead of playing on the one road that has all the gleanings traffic. All the kids are so pumped.

A family with 12 kids lives full time in this trailer. 6 years actually. And people thought we were crazy!
Installing a new well pump and wiring, it was 500 feet long.

Both Eli and Finn were in the Christmas play this year, and had the best experience doing it.
Lots of lines to memorize, and a lot of hours of rehersal. Totally worth it.
If you want to watch it on Youtube click here.
Finny loves finding random American goodies. Gosh he's cute :)
We baked sugar and gingerbread cookies this year, and we all decorated together. This was the final
product. Love doing these kind of things with them, while they still like doing things with me. ;)

Sunday 30 November 2014

What happened to November?

Kev came to visit us from China, he brought the weirdest things he could find.  I think we were      drinking bean milk here.

Loren Cunningham came to speak one night, he is the founder of YWAM, he has been to every
country in the world and had some amazing stories.
                                        Tickle fight!
Thanks Bob for all the new hockey gear.  The kids were
                                      so excited.
                                     Kev painted up Finn's face.
We had a huge parking lot garage sale to raise some money for some of the people going to Kenya
     on outreach.
                                     It wasn't planned.

Henrejs made a smoker in the boneyard.
I thought it was funny the double pads Kev had over
                                      his groin.
Jen is going to Kenya for the month of Feb.  Just a snippet
of one of the handout she got, trying to figure out shots.
                                     What an adventure.............

Oct post, almost no pictures!

Finn got this crazy technic set, it was a 2 day build.
Jen is part of the staff for the school right now.  Here is one of the students doing what they call a
    creative presentation.
Finally imported my old bike, it was sweet taking it on these roads.

Eli and Gary getting pumped to watch the game.
                                     Fire season..........
Had some fun at the church halloween night.
Jesse got hit in the head pretty hard at a football game, he is still dizzy and can barley walk.  The        kids brought him out on his wheel chair and had a great game.

Good times in the tent trailer.
We looked through our photo albums of the kids preschool.

Helping Gary dump the black water.
                                             Juniper beach.

Went to go visit Sean doing some stone work.
                                            Baby Emmitt

Going to the cousins for a pool party.

                                         Selfie!

                                      Eli picked these.

We went to see our friend Chris's paintings.  Check her art at http://www.thepromisestory.com/

Eli told her any of these can be bought at a thrift store for usually 4 dollars.
At the cabin.  Heffley lake, Kamloops BC.
                                     Uncle John helped Eli fish.
He caught one the last cast.
Back to America, with a bike.....
