Apache Indian Reservation
This dog has udders.
We met a girl in need. She had got kicked in the
ribs the night before and was in severe pain.
She had no car to get around. We were able to
get her to the hospital and watch her kids while
she was getting x-rays. We got her boy some new
shoes as his were way too small.
Waiting in the waiting room.
Saw this big guy outside the hospital.
We brought this family a food basket and had a good time
hanging out.
They call this a "cook-out"
Navajo Indian Reservation
On the way, Monument valley.
You know you are near the rez when you see a
sign like this in the bathroom.
This was my map they made me.
Sleeping on the floor, refugee style.
Giving a quilt to the pastor and his wife.
Bringing quilts and food to the old widows in the
village.
She is working on a blanket.
Traditional house called a Hogan. It had a dirt floor.
Walking to the red rock store.
Making the best of a broken pipe.
Nelly gave this gift to Finn.
Our new friends.

Back on the road.

Hopi Indian Reservation
Middle of nowhere AZ and the wood is from Canada.
Rod getting in with the food.
Frybread with icing.
Getting food baskets ready.
Finn having fun.
Paul had to pull the shower out to fix one of
the many water leaks.
Eli getting kindling ready for the fire.
Even the natives call it K-town.
Jen getting her makeup down.
Mt buddy Ruby loves Monster drink as much as me.
Our friend Nita.
Giving out quilts
We could not take very many pictures at Hopi. The big sign in
the town said not to. We obeyed.
On the road again.......

Roadtrip from Flagstaff to Hopi.
Picture of ancient Hopi village.
Lots left today.
Air is flying out of this blowhole.
Grand canyon lookout.
Going up to the viewpoint.
This is where the kids say "how long till we are there?"
